So I'm forty years old and I have never made a loaf of bread before.
Today was the day!
I borrowed some fresh ground wheat (red and white wheat) from my good neighbor (the one who brings us hot fresh wheat bread that we are sure has crack in it, because we crave it all week long).
(Red and white wheat) See the difference?
Mixed it in my awesome new Kitchen Aid (black - Sorry Queen & Jules)
And voila!
The happy homemaker.

Sue - can you pass me the recipe? And... since I know nothing of desperate housewifery wheat stuff... where do you get that kind of wheat...and how do you grind it...do you have a grinder thing-a-majig?
your loaves look way better than my loaves...
Looks yummy :) Now you can be on the thank you committee ;)

Man. I need to make some bread, now.
You are my new Martha.
Nice proof, gorgeous loaves.
Way to go girlfriend!
You rock, Sue. Those loaves look awesome.
Wow! Fantastic job!! Those look perfect, especially fir a first-timer :)
You're making me look bad!
But those are some beautiful looking loaves. Way to cook!
I'm wondering why I had to make bread ALL THE TIME for almost TWO YEARS before I figured out how to make nice looking loaves that my kids didn't call "rock bread".
You're SO domestic.
Congratulations. You have ARRIVED.
Look at YOU! And no worries, my KitchenAid is silver, so we're good. Those look so yummy, are the tops buttery? Mmm, should they be? How's this for sad - Cody makes homemade bread, I do not. I mean...I can, I just haven't...oh, whatever, you are fabulous and I always knew it!
Bravo!
